I don’t really take breaks from building. The projects, ideas, and next moves are always somewhere in the background. But I’ve learned that being constantly occupied is not the same as making progress.
There has to be room to relax, travel, experience life, and simply enjoy what you’ve already built.
Focus is powerful, but unchecked focus can become tunnel vision—and eventually you can lose sight of the purpose behind all the work.
The objective isn’t to escape the mission.
It’s to build a life where the mission and the living can coexist.
Capital should create options. Success should create freedom. And sometimes the smartest investment is simply taking the time to enjoy both.
